Looking for an Osteopath? 5 Well-Known Clinics in Singapore Worth Considering

Osteopathy is often associated with sports injuries, back pain, and stiff necks — but its reach goes much further. From chronic pain and headaches to digestive issues, arthritis, pregnancy-related discomfort, and even colic in babies, this hands-on, drug-free approach to healthcare addresses the body as a whole.

We spoke with leading osteopaths across Singapore to understand how their clinics are helping patients move better, feel better, and live more fully.

Edge Healthcare

Edge Healthcare is an award-winning multidisciplinary practice known for its expertise in movement, injury recovery, and body mechanics. Beyond sports and orthopaedics, the clinic has developed a strong focus on paediatric and women's health. Its purpose is clear: to care for the community at every life stage — from infants to elders, from elite athletes to those who simply want to move and live well.

Rather than treating symptoms in isolation, the team listens to each person's story and looks at the bigger picture. Care is evidence-based but grounded in real life. The goal is to help patients live safely and confidently, perform at their best, and have greater choice in how they move and live. In practice, this means asking not just "Where does it hurt?" but "What do you want to be able to do?"

What to expect:

  • Gentle paediatric care: calm, hands-on sessions for babies and children with colic, reflux, feeding challenges, flat head syndrome, birth-related tension, and postural concerns

  • Women's health: support for pelvic and lower back pain, pregnancy-related postural strain, core and pelvic floor rehabilitation, and musculoskeletal changes linked to hormonal shifts

Edge Healthcare regularly collaborates with GPs, paediatricians, gynaecologists, lactation consultants, and other health professionals to ensure coordinated care.

The Osteopathic Centre (TOC)

With 18 years of clinical experience in Singapore, The Osteopathic Centre has become an established name in osteopathic care, recognised as one of the Best Osteopaths in Singapore in the Expat Living Readers' Choice Awards 2026.

Founded by Dr Paul Bell, the clinic is led by senior osteopaths Gregory Durand, Iqra Kazee, and Xiaodane Hancart. The team also includes a senior physiotherapist, clinical Pilates instructor, qualified naturopath, and trauma-informed clinical hypnotherapist — offering a coordinated, multidisciplinary approach within a single setting.

Care is centred on understanding how body structure, movement, and overall health are connected — recognising the interplay between biomechanics, nervous system regulation, lifestyle factors, and emotional wellbeing. Services span all life stages, from pre and postnatal care and paediatric osteopathy to sports injury management and treatment for acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions.

An initial consultation includes a comprehensive health history, physical examination, and functional movement assessment. Treatment may combine cranial osteopathy, manual therapy, rehabilitative physiotherapy, clinical Pilates, dry needling, therapeutic massage, Kinesio taping, naturopathic care, and life coaching — tailored to individual needs. The team is multilingual in English, French, and Urdu.

Back In Health Osteopathy Singapore

Located in the heart of Singapore's CBD, Back In Health is a premium clinic offering expert care for pain, injury, spinal health, and performance. Founded by Australian-trained osteopath Dr Jon Marshall, the clinic is known for its personalised approach, combining osteopathic manual medicine with dry needling, cranial osteopathy, clinical Pilates, rehabilitation, and strength and conditioning.

A key addition is IDD Therapy, an advanced non-surgical spinal decompression treatment for selected patients with disc-related and nerve-related neck and back pain, including sciatica and persistent spinal conditions. This allows the clinic to offer a more comprehensive pathway for patients seeking a high-level alternative to standard conservative care.

Back In Health is also home to the Singapore Headache and Migraine Clinic, where Dr Marshall provides focused care for headache, migraine, neck-related headache, and more complex chronic pain presentations. He holds postgraduate qualifications including a Master of Headache Disorders from the University of Copenhagen and a Master in Strength and Conditioning from the University of Canberra.

Dr Johanna Cheong also practises at the clinic, with a special interest in paediatrics, family care, women's health, and strength and conditioning.

Osteopathic Treatment Centre

Founded in 1984 by renowned osteopath Dr David Tio, this clinic has been serving Singapore for over four decades. Dr Tio studied yoga and nature care in India before earning his diploma at the European School of Osteopathy in England. He is a "third-generation" osteopath following the founder of osteopathy, Dr Andrew Taylor Still.

The clinic brings together a multi-faceted team offering a wide range of natural, drug-free modalities. These include osteopathy, therapeutic massage, hypnotherapy, Rolfing, chiropody and podiatry, psychotherapy, and Ayurvedic medicine. A key focus is craniosacral therapy, which Dr Tio found especially effective for babies and children with special needs.

The philosophy: all parts of the body are interconnected, and the body can heal itself only when every part functions together in an integrated manner. An osteopath will not simply ease a specific problem — they will also seek to understand what is causing it.
